About
April Felkins - Owner/Organizer
April moved to the Jacksonville/St Augustine area in the summer of 2018 from Northern Virginia and created First Coast Organizing to help individuals struggling with clutter, disorganization, grief, and life transitions.
Having been a Licensed Funeral Director for over 15 years, I hold a degree in Psychology as well a certification in Grief Management. I understand that clutter, whether physical or emotional, can prohibit one from living their best life and effect all areas of life, including relationships.
As a working mother of twin girls, one with special needs, I understand the challenges of maintaining a household and know the importance of having strong organized systems in place to help with household structure and routines for cohesiveness within the family.
I am a proud member of NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing), and a Certified Home Organizer from ASPO (Association of Professional Organizers). I enjoy giving back to my community by being a proud business sponsor to our local elementary schools, local sports teams, as well as supporting various non-profit organizations dear to my heart.

Katie Manning - Lead Organizer
Katie was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. She moved to the Jacksonville/Saint Augustine area in 2018 to be near her husband’s family.
Katie has always loved to arrange things. As a girl, she spent most of her pretend play time setting up her doll's room, packing for the camping trip, or hanging her barbie’s clothes in an orderly fashion. Since college, she has always lived in small spaces and has become an expert at tiny house hacks and tricks. Fitting much into little without foregoing functionality and a decluttered aesthetic is her passion.
After 8 years of being a stay at home mom, Katie is excited to help clients organize their space while her boys are in school. She feels her years of experience and welcoming presence will contribute well to the clients overall experience.
When Katie isn’t organizing, she loves to be with her husband and 2 boys. She loves family, being involved in her church, creating through baking or sewing, and doing house/yard projects.
